26th May 1940. Amidst the grand theatre of WW2, two soldiers on opposing sides of the war must protect each other for the sake of their own survival.

Set just two miles from Calais during World War II, a loyal German soldier, Egon, is sent to scout a seemingly abandoned barn to prepare it as a base. Inside, he’s ambushed by British Lance Corporal Ernest. A tense fight ensues, but when Ernest gains the upper hand, he’s faced with an impossible choice- kill Egon and risk death himself, or let him go and face the same fate. As the two soldiers confront each other, they begin to see past the uniforms and realise their shared humanity. With the German army closing in, Ernest takes a leap of faith and spares Egon. In return, Egon hides Ernest’s presence, walking back into the chaos of war forever changed.
